本校は韓国のスウォン市にある三一工業高等学校と姉妹校連携を行なっています。今年度は相互訪問をすることが決まっており、まずは本校が韓国を訪問しました。

本プロジェクトでは、日韓姉妹校連携大使および大使補佐として、生徒が計画を立て実行することを大切にしてきました。３日間の韓国訪問プランも生徒たちによる計画です。学校レベルや高校生レベルでできる日韓連携を推進しています。

Our school has established a sister school partnership with Samil Technical High School in Suwon, South Korea. This year, we decided to conduct mutual visits, with our school making the trip to Korea.

In this project, we have emphasized having students plan and execute activities as Korea-Japan Sister School Partnership Ambassadors and Assistant Ambassadors. The three-day visit to Korea was also planned by the students themselves. We are promoting Korea-Japan collaboration at both the school level and the high school student level.

【韓国訪問１日目：2025.09.10】

活動内容：日本（羽田空港）→韓国（金浦空港）へ移動、金浦空港→スウォン駅へ移動、ショッピングモール散策、スウォン市内散策、スウォン市役所見学

訪問団には、初海外、初飛行機の生徒もいましたが事前に立てた計画に沿って行動することができました。電車の乗り換えで若干のミスがあり、時間がなくなってしまったことで博物館に行くことができなくなってしまいましたが、生徒たちで話し合い臨機応変に対応することができました。ロッテモールというショッピングモールでは、いろいろなお店を回りながら日本と韓国の共通点と相違点を調べることができました。

＜生徒感想より＞

イレギュラーはあったが、その中で現地の方とコミュニケーションを取ることができたのはよかった。

空港や街中に日本語の標記がたくさんあった。案外日本語が通じることや英語があまり通じない場面があることにびっくりした。日本語、韓国語、英語のどれかでコミュニケーションに挑戦できるというのはとてもおもしろいと感じた。駅にいる現地の方に電車の路線を聞いたところ、「日本の学生ですか」と日本語で話してくれる場面もあって驚いた。

ご飯がとても美味しいことが分かった。日本でも韓国料理のお店がたくさんあるが、やはり現地のお店で食事できたのは貴重な体験だった。街の人が優しいと感じる場面がたくさんあった。

【Day 1 in Korea: September 10, 2025】

Activities: Travel from Japan (Haneda Airport) → Korea (Gimpo Airport), Travel from Gimpo Airport → Suwon Station, Explore shopping mall, Tour through Suwon city, Tour Suwon City Hall

Although some students in the delegation were experiencing their first overseas trip and first airplane flight, we were able to follow the pre-planned itinerary. There was a slight mistake during a train transfer, causing us to run out of time and miss the museum visit, but the students discussed it and adapted flexibly. At Lotte Mall, we explored various shops and investigated similarities and differences between Korea and Japan.

<From Student Feedback>

There were some irregularities, but it was good to be able to communicate with local people within those circumstances.

There were many Japanese signs at the airport and around town. I was surprised that Japanese was surprisingly understandable in some places, and that English wasn’t always understood. I found it interesting to try communicating in Japanese, Korean, or English. When I asked a local at the station about train routes, they even spoke to me in Japanese, asking, “Are you a student from Japan?” which surprised me.

I discovered the food was incredibly delicious. While there are many Korean restaurants in Japan, eating at local spots was a truly valuable experience. There were many moments where I felt the people in the city were kind.
