さくらサイエンス招へいプログラム（２日目）
化学実験からSTEAM、そして未来の防災を語る1日
プログラム2日目、松山高級中学の皆さんは大宮北高校の生徒と同じように駅から徒歩で登校し、終日校内でのプログラムに参加しました。
「ウェルカム・セレモニー＆銀鏡反応の実験」
午前は2年1組の生徒との交流からスタート。
プレゼンテーションや折り紙で親睦を深めた後、化学実験室で「銀鏡反応」を利用した鏡作りを行いました。3人1組のチームで協力し、完成した鏡は日本訪問の記念として持ち帰ることができました。
「STEAMプログラム「災害からの復興」とランチミーティング」
11時からは1年1組の生徒と「災害からの復興」をテーマにしたSTEAM学習に取り組みました。
特筆すべきは昼食の時間です。1月29日に実施予定の「防災ハザードマップ・フィールドワーク（FW）」の班ごとに集まり、ランチミーティング形式で調査計画の確認を行いました。食事を囲むことで緊張もほぐれ、午後のワークショップや発表会ではさらに活発な意見交換が行われました。
「放課後のスクールツアーと部活動見学」
プログラムの締めくくりには、29日のFWグループごとに校内を巡るスクールツアーを実施しました。17時までたっぷり時間をかけて、日本の部活動の様子や校内施設を見学し、両校の生徒たちはすっかり打ち解けた様子でした。

Visit from Taipei Municipal Songshan Senior High School (Day ２)
A Day Discussing Chemistry Experiments, STEAM, and Future Disaster Preparedness
On the second day of the program, students from Songshan Senior High School walked to school from the station just like Omiya Kita High School students, participating in a full day of on-campus activities.
“Welcome Ceremony & Silver Mirror Reaction Experiment”
The morning began with an exchange with students from Class 1, Grade 2.
After bonding through presentations and origami, they made mirrors using the “silver mirror reaction” in the chemistry lab. Working in teams of three, they completed mirrors to take home as souvenirs of their Japan visit.
“STEAM Program ‘Recovery from Disasters’ and Lunch Meeting”
From 11:00 AM, they engaged in STEAM learning with Class 1-1 students, focusing on the theme “Recovery from Disasters.”
Notably, lunch time served a special purpose. Groups formed for the “Disaster Prevention Hazard Map Fieldwork (FW)” scheduled for January 29 gathered for a lunch meeting to confirm their survey plans. Sharing a meal eased tensions, leading to even more active discussions during the afternoon workshops and presentations.
“After-School School Tour and Club Activity Observation”
To conclude the program, we conducted a school tour for each of the 29th’s FW groups. Taking ample time until 5:00 PM, they observed Japanese club activities and school facilities, and students from both schools appeared to have become thoroughly comfortable with each other.
